Sika Dur PF

Product Overview

Sikadur® PF is a solvent-free, thixotropic, two-component epoxy resin putty. It is formulated as a high-strength "pore sealer" and smoothing paste designed to level uneven surfaces and seal defects before the application of subsequent coatings.

Primary Uses

• Surface Leveling: Smoothing and leveling concrete, stone, mortar, and steel surfaces.

• Defect Repair: Filling blowholes, pinholes, honeycombs, and minor surface voids.

• Adhesive: Structurally bonding precast segments, crash barriers, and curb stones.

• Tile Fixing: Bonding tiles and filling tile joints (grouting) in heavy-duty areas.

• Crack Sealing: sealing non-moving cracks and surface fissures.

Key Characteristics

• Thixotropic: Non-sag consistency, making it excellent for vertical and overhead work.

• Moisture Tolerant: Can be applied to both dry and damp concrete surfaces.

• High Strength: Develops high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance rapidly.

• Chemical Resistant: Provides good resistance against various chemicals.

• Shrinkage Free: Hardens without shrinking, ensuring a permanent seal.

Technical Data Highlights

• Mixing Ratio: Component A : Component B = 2 : 1 (by weight or volume).

• Layer Thickness: Maximum 3 mm per layer.

• Pot Life: Approximately 45 minutes (at 25°C).

• Full Cure: ~7 days for full mechanical hardness.
