Product Overview

Sika MonoTop®-1010 ES is a one-component, polymer-modified, cementitious slurry. It serves a dual purpose as both a bonding primer and reinforcement corrosion protection. It is formulated with recycled raw materials, giving it a reduced carbon footprint compared to traditional repair mortars.

Primary Uses

• Corrosion Protection: Applied directly to steel reinforcement bars to prevent rust and corrosion in concrete repair systems.

• Bonding Primer: Acts as a "bonding bridge" applied to existing concrete to ensure that new repair mortar adheres tightly.

• Anodic Control: Suitable for controlling anodic areas (Principle 11, method 11.1 of EN 1504-9).

  • Corrosion Protection: Minimum 2 mm total thickness (applied in two coats).
